Hitkarini Dental College & Hospital is the eighth institution established by Hitkarini Sabha, one of the oldest and most respected educational organizations in central India. Founded in 1868, Hitkarini Sabha has a rich legacy of delivering quality education—from elementary schooling to professional and technical programs across various disciplines including arts, science, commerce, education, law, nursing, engineering, architecture, and dentistry.
As the first dental college in eastern Madhya Pradesh, Hitkarini Dental College & Hospital holds a prestigious place in the region’s educational landscape. Located on the scenic Airport Road in Jabalpur, the college offers a state-of-the-art learning environment and modern facilities for aspiring dental professionals.
The institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India and is affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. The college admits:

60 students annually into its undergraduate program (Bachelor of Dental Surgery – BDS), and

33 postgraduate students across seven specialties in the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program.
⚠️ Important Notice on Admissions
Hitkarini Dental College & Hospital strictly does not:

Expect, demand, or accept any capitation fee or donation in any form (cash or cheque) for admission to BDS or MDS programs.

There is no admission in the college on the basis of government scholarship. The institute merely forwards students’ scholarship applications to the concerned government authorities. The scholarship amount is disbursed directly by the government to the students. Therefore, payment of college fees remains the sole responsibility of the students and their parents. Fee payment cannot be delayed on the grounds of pending scholarship disbursement by the government.

Courses Offered
🦷 Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
A full-time undergraduate program recognized by the Dental Council of India, awarded by Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. The course follows the curriculum and standards set by the DCI and provides a comprehensive foundation in dental science and practice.
🦷 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)
A full-time postgraduate program with seven specialties, also awarded by Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University and recognized by the Dental Council of India. The program is designed to offer advanced training and specialization in various dental disciplines.
