Hostel

There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The rooms are fully furnished with attached bathrooms and have all facilities for lodging and boarding.   Applications for hostel have to be made on the prescribed form. The students in the hostel are subject to Disciplinary control of the Warden/Lady Warden.

Mess

The college is running a full fledged mess providing breakfast, refreshment, lunch and dinner to the hostlers and day scholars and staff of the college. The quality of the food is monitored and the rates are reasonable.

 

Cultural Activities and Sports
The College Students take active part in a variety of literary and cultural activities including extempore speech, poetry, quiz, etc. The College won several prizes in the Hitkarini Sabha Vidya Parishad Competition. This year Cultural, Sports and Literary meet of the College was held in the month of April 2016. The annual cultural function “Envision” is held in Shaheed Smarak Auditorioum. The Vice-Chancellor of RD University Jabalpur/ Vice-Chancellor, Medical Science University, Madhya Pradesh and Secretary, Hitkarini Sabha are usually the Guests of Honor. The function is presided over by President, Hitkarini Sabha.

Other Facilities:

– Transport: The college has its own bus transport facility for students.

– Emergency medical treatment: The college has arrangements to provide emergency medical care through its affiliate Jabalpur Hospital and Research Center.

It is also a policy and endeavor of the Hitkarini Sabha to recruit talented and experienced faculty as desired by the Dental Council of India. The faculty is provided full freedom of working including teaching and research.
Staff is provided best pays, perquisites and allowances. The emphasis is on the Quality Teaching for the students and on academic excellence. Student Feedback System is in place where the management obtains reviews from students about the course progress and teaching methodologies of various staff members on a periodic basis. The college provides on campus staff quarters for the faculty. There is a separate reading area in the library and staff rooms for faculty members so that they can their own studies and preparation for the classes.

Continuing Education programme
Every month on first Thursday, Monthly Scientific Meet is organised, which is attended by the teaching faculties and postgraduate students. There is discussion on pre-decided contemporary topic in that meet.

The college organizes International Level Maxillofacial Workshop every year in collaboration with its affiliated hospital viz Jabalpur Hospital and Research Center under the Continuing Education Programme. Every year in the month of Feb/March Maxillofacial Workshop, Dr. G.E. Ghali, Dr. David Kim and Dr. S. Connor, Professors at Louisiana State University U.S.A. and several leading surgeons from around the world and different parts of India address the staff, students and local surgeons on the Maxillofacial Trauma and Oral Cancer.
