Hitkarini Dental College & Hospital is the 8^th college established by  Hitkarini Sabha, which is one of the oldest educational institutions in the region. It was established in 1868, almost 140 years ago. Since then it has grown from providing elementary school education to professional and technical education through quality institutes in the field of arts, science, commerce, education, law, nursing, engineering and dentistry.

This is the first college of dentistry in eastern Madhya Pradesh. The college is situated in a picturesque location on the airport road in Jabalpur. It offers the four years full time Bachelor of Dental Surgery course. Quality infrastructure, including hostels and staff quarters are available on the campus. The college is affiliated to the Rani Durgavati University (formerly known as Jabalpur University) and is approved by the Dental Council of India, the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
