The department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery has a host of trained Professionals. All varieties of surgical treatment ranging from acquired congenital, traumatic and developmental diseases of the jaws and face to simple extraction of teeth are under taken. The department has a separate exodontia and implantology section & an O.T. complex area which has two fully equipped theatres with an attached recovery room with monitors on each bed. In patient arrangement exists, as 20 bedded separate male and female wards. The college is affiliated to Jabalpur Hospital and Research center and critical oral and maxillofacial surgeries are performed in the hospital.
The department strives for academic excellence by active association with various National and International organization. The department has to its credit the organization of various national & international workshops & CMEs.
It is the aim & commitment of the department to strive for High-quality care to be rendered with maximum efficiency, effectiveness and economy and as a teaching hospital to provide excellent teaching facilities to students to attain local self-sufficiency in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and to promote clinical research.
